May 16 EbayWhen I was buying skin care products on Ebay I found something interesting. It seems that the more high-end the brand is, the less items under its name are on sale. Is this simply because there are fewer users of expensive products or because these users are so rich that they don't care to go on ebay? or are there other possible reasons?
Just a quick glance:
Sisley: 183 items on sale
La Mer: 685
Shiseido: 843
Clarins: 1017
Lancome: 2063
Clinique: 2633
Mary Kay: 5532
Then I found an outlier: Olay 537, and I believe that there are a bunch of other low-end brands that have few items on sale...Seems that the more accurate theory should predict that both high-end and low-end brands have few items on sale, while the medium products have the biggest market...
